Interaction entre les deux chroniqueuses qui débattent sur le sujet puis arrivée des deux politiciennes

Lien Chloé P:

-Good morning Los Angeles, today we begin with the political part of the News
-Yes we will talk about the Brexit, a hot topic !
- This subject was more topical a few months ago but we have new informations and we should like to speak about important conséquences of the Brexit ! We’ll start with Lisa. The floor is now yours.
  • Chloé P: According to the newspaper “The weekend” : "Business in this country is already feeling the pain of the economic upheaval of leaving Europe. There is no sign that this is likely to ease this year."
  • Chloé M: The currency devaluation does not help, even less for the companies including Easyjet or John Lewis. Indeed, their costs increase because the pound sterling dropped.
  • Chloé P: On February 3rd, the pound fell below $1,25 against the dollar according an economic survey which highlighted the consequences of the currency's slide since June. After an increase of close to $1.27 just a week earlier, sterling fell in response to warnings from the Bank of England. So, it’s unlikely that interest rates rise anytime soon.
  • Chloé M : We can make a linkage between its companies in difficulty and the work in general that can change negatively after the exit of the European Union. Additionally, big business tended to be in favour of Britain staying in the EU because it makes it easier for them to move money, people and products around the world.
  • Chloé P: Yes depending on our informations: more than two-thirds of executives said they had already taken action by presenting contingency plans. Moreover, one of ten executives taking action said they would move part or all of their business to locations outside of the UK, so it can be very bad because its economic situation can be upset. Firms are suffering from the European Union exit, that’s what is said by the(zi) executives of some Britain’s largest companies
  • Chloé M : What are you basing yourself on to say that ?
  • Chloé P: I refer to a survey of more than 100 senior executives by Ipsos Mori which found that 58 per cent,so more than half , felt Brexit was already having a negative effect on their businesses, despite strong economic data published in the past month.
  • Chloé M : Hum.. and I am wondering what consequences this will have on the jobs ? Because in my opinion, a lot of works will be lost and much people unemployed..
  • Chloé P : It’s estimated that 10,000(ten thousand) jobs will be moved to the continent by financial companies themselves, along with up to 20,000(twenty thousand) jobs in related professional services such as accountancy and the law. It’s not the end because TheCityUK predicts 70,000 job losses, while the London Stock Exchange forecasts 232,000(two hundred and thrity two thousand).
  • Chloé M : The economic and social situation is unfavourable I’m shocked and it’s worrying. In addition, I learned that new laws could create barriers like the fact that persons originating in EU who wanted to work in the United Kingdom will have to take a visa and inversely. In my mind, this obligation would limit the access to skilled workers in professions where there are shortages.
  • Chloé P: Speaking of barriers, I just want to say that global banks are worried about the loss of "passporting", which enables banks with a London base to trade freely without requiring a physical presence in the country they are passporting into or a banking licence. This “passport” which allows firms based in the UK to trade anywhere in Europe without needing any separate registration or banking licence will be probably lost unfortunately.
  • Chloé M : Oh I just had a new information about the triple A! ( regarde le portable) In short I explain to you that it is. The triple A is a score given by a private agency to a country that shows capacity or not to pay its debts. However, if they leave the EU, there will a decrease of this triple A. Interests will be higher. This is because there is a forecast of a sharp slowdown in the country growth.
  • Chloé P : I realize that the consequences can be devastating…Moreover  according to a survey, consumers are less confident about this borrowing rates(taux d’emprunt) which could slow the United Kingdom’s growth.
So the financial result could be a profound impact on the public finances which can be loose around £12bn a year for the Treasury. Leaving the world's largest single market would be a major blow to the UK economy.
  • Chloé M :This may be the reason why the government would like to integrate all the European legislation in the British law in voting a draft law soon. For my part, I believe that they want to keep only good things of the EU. I’m no expert on this, but according to our informations, United Kingdom have an interest in staying in the European Union.

  • Chloé P : Today, to speak more about this subject we’ll receive Ana Scoffield and Jane O'Connell !

exposé en anglais: création d'un objet/service et le vendre / Create an object or service and sale it !

I’m sure you know some morning you can’t get up to go to class, it’s too cold, you miss one more time your bus. Sometimes it can be outside of your control like your car doesn’t want to start, you are sick or the weather prevents you from going outside.
I know you feel concerned !
We want to propose to all universities the possibility of (instOling) installing a camera in the classroom which would enable students not to miss any lessons which means you don’t have to apologize, like even if I know you are lazy!
So we target especially students of the[zi] entire world which can meet difficulties to go to their university. We are  targeting the students living in warring countries, with hard weather conditions or simply students facing [faicing] transport problems.
So let me introduce the name of this product : it will be called RecTeach
They just need an internet connexion and  just have to go the internet platform named Recteacher.com.

Moreover, unlike some schools which  exist and which give services as distance education courses, this service will be free for the students. If students need extra help and support, they can receive it from their own teachers without leaving home. So when they go back to their school they will continue where they stop. Let me add one important point : students can ask their teachers questions at any one time if they don’t understand some notions of what they learn. The students can have a (riol) real interaction between them.

The camera will be set in a strategic place where we can easily see the lesson of the teacher. The camera can turn and follow the subject to have a perfect angle of view.

Now, I know you’re thinking about how we can earn money, aren’t you? [ant you]
The [zi] university will paid to equip the classroom. It’s a big market, you want to know why? Because there are 70 universitieS only in a little country like France !!
Currently we need to think of the price which can be adapted for all the country.
After the launching we hope a quick return of investment on the ground of 6% per year.
It’s a big deal for you, investor, because you can take place of this revolutionary service and you’ll have market share in a project with thousand of potential clients.

Join Recteach and enter a new world of learning in the whole world !!!

The 3D printing

The 3D printing has been invented by Chuck Hull and his first working 3D printer was created in 1983. It's a real revolutionary object and one of the latest most important innovation in technology. In fact, until now we can't print in 3D and do all the objects we want without assembling. Objects are formed by applying successive layers of material.

For the moment, this technology is just used in sectors like aerospace (engine parts), military (weapons), architecture, jewelry, industrial equipment....One of the most important applications of 3D printing is in the medical industry. You can print human organs using a person's own cells. Thanks to it, surgeons can save lives producing parts of their patients' body. Besides, thanks to 3D printing a new type of plaster has been made by an American student. In fact, it's revolutionary because it's a futuristic plaster cast : it's light, well-ventilated, more efficient than the other plaster and you can take your shower with it. Nevertheless, it takes 72 hours in order to realize that sort of prototype.

You can print in a lot of different materials for example : in metal, plastic, nylon.....and over a hundred other materials. Before manufacturing an object, you have to do it on your computer. It can also change the life of numerous persons because we can do whatever we want for example a chair just by pressing «print». Nowadays, a lot of things are built with the help of 3D printing and is going to impact so many industries.
Nevertheless, the weaknesses the 3D printing present are : the time it spends – the price of the machine : 3D printing costs $1,500 for general public. However, prices are decreasing quickly.
For instance, parts created through 3D printing are limitated in size ; it's possible to create larger parts but they're more expensive and also an unrealizable solution for many companies.
Also, the 3D printing spreads nanoparticles.

About ethical problems : it can be used by scientists to clone or also by terrorists to produce some plastical weapons undetected in the airports for example.
This technological advancement only depends on how it is used. If people lose control of it, it can become dangerous.

To conclude, I'd like to point out that this god send is really an efficient means of creating objects and it will be improved and certainly become one of the most important technology of the 21st Century.

Discours en anglais contre les armes aux Etats-Unis

Hello, my name is …... and I'm going to present you the goal of my association called "Stop Assault Rifle".I am the foundator and I created this association 3 years ago.

I agree with the 2nd Amendment, guns can help people to defend themselves but do you think it's necessary to possess an assault rifle ? This type of arms is used in mass murders for example/as was the case in Sandy Hook school.

Yes, a pistol can save life but an assault rifle isn't made in order to save but to kill. Isn't it a war gun ? SO, IT'S TIME TO REACT !

First, we have to limit this type of weapons in the....
